Submitted late November and haven't heard a single word. No JS1, no hold, no ding... just tumbleweeds rolling through the town as the clock approaches high noon. Anything? Please?

Re: Held @ Harvard 2013 style
read through the 2012 held and waitlist posts. looks like we are all headed for waitlist with most then being rejected during the summer. also doesnt seem like LOCI/additional materials make a noticeable difference in your odds. great

I think you have a better chance than most, if you were waitlisted, since your hard stats are better than most holdsaz21833 wrote:read through the 2012 held and waitlist posts. looks like we are all headed for waitlist with most then being rejected during the summer. also doesnt seem like LOCI/additional materials make a noticeable difference in your odds. great

Not to be a downer, but I found this helpful. Might be good to see where we stand in terms of last year's waitlist:

After a big pull in March and being Waitlisted in May we all pretty much ended being rejected in late July or August it was sad.. Hopefully this cycle has better results!!

By "big pull," do you mean from the list of those held?masked kavana wrote:az21833 wrote:you wouldn't want to see it hahaWaitingandHopeful wrote:I really wish this had been updated at the end of the cycle and we knew what the final results werebroadstreet11 wrote:Not to be a downer, but I found this helpful. Last year everyone was talking about a "URM wave" - basically a huge wave of acceptances for URMs - it didn't really materialize. Instead, there were a couple of days of JS1s and then nothing until the WL emails came.
