I have been held since December after an alumni interview. No updates until 2/21....
I wrote a LOCI and have a rec. from a Georgetown Law alum....thought this would help but now I'm nervous- reverse splitter

If it's a snail-mail acceptance: as fast as a letter can get to your hometown (...having been sent last Friday?)?

If it's an email waitlist or rejection: hoping never!!

Either way, we "should" know by Friday, since that's the 28th, the day by which they said held applicants would know.

Okay I don't want to start a panic, but status updated from 12/15 (held date) -> 2/5 -> 2/26 (today). Two days to get to CA, just in time to see that acceptance in the mail? I can only hope so.

Every day, run to the mailbox... My mail comes early, so I just did the sprint...nothing again. (Because my mail shows up so early in the morning, I have a theory it's actually the previous day's mail.) Still sad, though. Hoping hoping hoping NOT for an email.

I don't feel terribly hopeful anymore either, except:

1. I've only heard of ONE held applicant being accepted so far, and they were PT.
2. I want this so badly I just keep hoping despite all odds.
3. It would be pretty cruel to take us remaining hold-ers all the way up to the 27th and 28th of Feb. only to crush us.
