Not sure if this is new or if this is was always the case and the date is comparable to 2nd deposits for other schools, but there is a $500 deposit this year. From an email today:
Notification Deadline for the Fall 2013 First-year Class:
In the next few weeks, we will send you an e-mail containing a link to our admitted student response webpage. On this page you will be asked to indicate whether you will be accepting our offer of admission, and if so, whether you intend to enroll as a full-time or part-time student. We ask that when you receive the e-mail with the response link that you submit your decision no later than Monday, April 15, 2013. In the event that you are still unsure of your decision by April 15, please indicate that you are uncertain on the online form. An "uncertain" response from you will hold a space for you in the class temporarily. We will also be requiring a $500 non-refundable enrollment deposit which will be credited to your fall semester tuition bill. The $500 non-refundable enrollment deposit is due on or before May 15, 2013. If you have already notified us that you will be attending in the fall, we still ask that you complete the online form. If we do not have your reply by April 15, we will assume you are not coming, and will cancel your acceptance. There is no need to contact the Admissions Office with your decision now. We ask that you wait until you receive the e-mail with the admitted student response link before informing us of your decision to enroll. We thank you in advance for your attention to our time-frame.
