I applied in early January and haven't even gotten my status checker. Emailed them about it and no response.

Of all of the places I've applied to (over 20), Kent seems the least kind in updating people, lol

Crunch time. They've probably already made the majority of the decisions, now they have to be more nit-picky with their decisions.

I've been sitting at under review since 1/3- what gives?

Or maybe they are slowing down because more applications are being submitted. According to the "Law School Confidential" book only 25% apply early.

Either way, CPM is waiting because its late in the cycle. I think I stayed under review for a while. Then I stopped checking in on it and one day I got a surprise acceptance in my email.

Does it actually say "Final Review"? Because my status checker updated two days ago and says, "Application Complete- In Review".

I never got a status checker either. About two weeks after applying, I called them and asked them about it, and then they sent the status checker info right away.

Your best bet is to just call the admissions office. Seems like some kind of glitch.

From what I've seen on the boards, if you are updated to Final Review you should hear by email within the next couple of days (usually the next day).

I went to final review last Thursday, admitted that Friday, scholarship info that Saturday

Went complete 1/3, "Final Review" yesterday morning, "Admitted" yesterday afternoon with $15,000/year (according to status checker).

160/3.51 - Music background and 15 years work experience

Ya they will. But I never checked until I got the scholarship offer in the mail. I got a tiny $2,000 scholly that doesn't renew and they said if your top 5% you get 20,000 after 1L and top 10% you get 10,000 after 1L.

Yes, and they increased my package from $20,000 a year to $23,000 a year. PM me if you want some more details.

When "in-review" for a longer period of time, does it typically mean they are having a harder time deciding on whether to accept you?

I've been in review for about a month now (I know not that long), but it really does feel like pergatory. I'm also applying for the Evening prgram, do you know think that increases or decreases my chances?

I applied back in early January, and was accepted in early February - almost exactly a month later. Also offered a 25k/year scholarship with no stipulations.

Numbers are 165/3.92.

I am withdrawing today though, as I've accepted a full scholly at IU-B. Good luck to everyone still waiting!!
