For those who've been accepted. Is it a packet for accepted students versus a letter for rejections?

Or just a letter regardless?

Accepted letters come in a big envelope with "OPEN ME" on the front in a big bold font. Would be pretty cold if there was a rejection letter in there.

Yeah no shit. I thought for a second it was a viewbook or something instead of the decision letter.

accepted today! im very happy because this cycle has been brutal and i live about an hour away. no scholarship though. people with numbers lower or similar seem to be getting money too. ive decided my personal statement must have serious issues. may just start again next year, but going to visit next week to be sure.

Thanks! Yeah, I've been looking around there. I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything so far this cycle. Does Baylor's cycle seem to be a little different this year like other schools have been, or is it pretty normal?

I know their timing has been off, but I don't know about their numbers. But, if you haven't already applied this year, I would suggest waiting another, since it is so late in the cycle.

I got my packet with no scholarship today too, also with what I think are pretty good numbers. Mine was letter mailed 2/7 so it also got here WAY faster than everyone else and my deposit deadline is 2/29 which is pushed back 2 weeks from everyone else.

I'm wondering if the lack of scholarship might be due to the late application. I literally sent in my application on the deadline for Summer.

Luckily I got into some higher ranked schools with $$ so doesn't look like I will be at Baylor after all, just can't justify the cost.

Anyone else have a handwritten note on their letter?

Yeah I think these deposit deadlines we keep hearing about are for the entering summer quarter.

Just got accepted to the summer program...letter was sent out 2/7 and arrived today (2/10).

LSAT:163
GPA: 2.56(3.23)

I went to Baylor for undergrad for two years and loved it. Yea Waco blows but you'll never find more genuinely nice people than at Baylor. Anyone on the fence about Baylor should definitely go visit. If you have any questions about Baylor/Waco in general feel free to ask.

Congrats to all those who have been accepted and good luck to those still pending!

I visited last week and the law building is legit. By far the nicest facility I've toured, but it still can't make up for the > $80k in debt I'd rack up.

Yes, the summer seat deposit is the one due Feb 15.
