Burns to be honest man those numbers are not going to get you in at FSU. But I feel your pain with no movement. I have a 3.44 / 161 and solid softs and excellent LORs. I have been complete for 3 months and no movement.

Yup I got it and responded immediately! I have an exam on that day as well but if I get the stipend I'm definitely going.

Got the email about ASD but had no mention of any stipend. I am pretty average numbers-wise for FSU. To speak in college football terms, are stipends only for five-star recruits? You guys can be honest; it won't hurt my feelings lol.

I wasn't planning on attending ASD; but if I can get a decent stipend for the drive from Louisiana I'll definitely consider it.

For those of you asking about a stipend, you have to be somewhat far away to receive one. If you are in Florida, you will probably not get one.

Its been talked about a lot in earlier pages, but many people received scholarship applications in December and those of us who did, should find out by the 15th.

I thought that if I completed the application earlier than the January 30th deadline, I would hear back before the 15th, but I haven't heard anything yet.

You are a shoe-in at FSU. While we are at it, let's surgarcoat more stuff. We are all getting associate jobs as soon as we graduate and getting 100K right out of the gate.

You see, the thing is, when you propose such idiotic inquiries, you're not going to get all serious, analytic answers; you're going to get some responses, like this one, that address the extremity of your propositions.

Ok well im sure im not the 1st one to tell you this, but I'll say it anyway, go fuck yourself. All i did was ask a question about what my chances are. Your post was unbelievably uncalled for... I dont know if your angry because you got rejected everywhere, or if you have some personal issues that derive from your asbergers-like social skills, but you can promptly shut the fuck up.

What kind of softs are we talking about? I need more info about your softs to give you a proper chancing.

Yeah I understand that... I have done a very large amount of volunteer service, it would take a while to describe/type most of it out, but I will tell you the most profound volunteer experience I had was a month in a township in South Africa, teaching HIV positive mentally handicapped children.

Ben. Ignore jackasses like this. He or she has no friends and is bitter about it.

Like others have said, your chances are slim, especially if you applied late in the cycle. But if the softs that you mentioned might add to the diversity of the school, so there is always a possibility, even if it is a very small one. At least you have other schools that have accepted you. Keep us updated.
