I suppose only time will tell. I feel pretty confident about it. It was way more substantial than a few of my other "Why X" essays, which were only loosely based on why I wanted to attend.gaud wrote:thelawschoolproject wrote:For my Why Cornell, I connected my DS to one of their clinics.
likewise, thinkin it was a good idea?

Anyone know how strict schools are at letting you slightly miss the EA deadline??
I'm in California, so I guess they got my app Nov 1st, ~2:05 AM. Any chance they'll take my app EA? I designated "yes" on the EA question in the app, btw.
edit: my stats are 3.37/167/Mexican URM
sent a DS and Why cornell too..

Do you guys think describing Ithaca as a small college town in a Why? essay sounds condescending? I'm using it as a reason I want to go there.

Doesn't "submit by" = "submit no later than that date"? If not, I can go to bed and not stay up all night finishing my apphorrorbusiness wrote:Anyone know how strict schools are at letting you slightly miss the EA deadline??

I'm going to submit the application tomorrow. Even though I'm above the GPA median and above the 75th percentile LSAT, I would be more than happy to attend Cornell, especially if Cornell gives me a scholarship. The only other schools I might potentially take over Cornell are Harvard, Columbia, or the state school UPenn.
Also, a friend called and asked Cornell, submitting on November 1st is acceptable for EA.

Not at all. They talk about it on the website ad nauseum, probably hopoiing to make Ithaca sound not so horrible.Strange wrote:Do you guys think describing Ithaca as a small college town in a Why? essay sounds condescending? I'm using it as a reason I want to go there.

Not sure if you're joking but Penn is not a state school. It is a private university.I'm going to submit the application tomorrow. I unnecessarily check it multiple times a day. Even though I know it won't say anything new. I think its the TLS thing to do.Status checker? I'm about to get so neurotic with this thing.

The decision date graphs for the two cycles posted on tls are very different. Any guesses for when the first batch comes out?

I don't think so. The LORS wouldn't have been sent until Cornell requested your credential report anyways.horrorbusiness wrote:shit. i submitted my app without attaching my LORs.
