Unfortunately, I don't know how to. Not computer savvy.

I submitted all my apps the same day last month and Columbia put me under review the soonest. They sent me an e-mail about it. I did not check other status checkers yet. Anyone else have the same experience?

I was responding to this: "It's probably worth an ED app. Both of you guys will probably get stuck on the waitlist, but if apps fall again this year and Columbia needs to work to maintain medians you could get in. Doesn't look like they've gone with GPAs that low since 2007-2008:"

I can lay it out in an economics framework if that helps you understand the relationship better.

Understood, so 2007 had fewer test takers. But curious. What is an economics framework?

I just meant that I think it's easier to understand using the basic macroeconomic model of labor supply/labor demand. e.g. As the supply of labor (the number of people willing to work) drops, firms will raise wages to retain laborers as they are now more valuable. Applied to our case, applicants would take the role of the laborers and law schools would be the employers. Rather than raising wages, law schools will be forced to reach deeper into the pile for candidates and hopefully offer some more cash money.

If you were just being facetious by asking the question to begin with, I hope I wasted enough of your time reading this. Also, I formally apologize to all of TLS for analogizing something with macroeconomic theory

But it does not require you to explain why. And I'm wondering if I should write an addendum.

After you get the Complete e-mail, do you get another that says Under Review, or does the Complete e-mail mean that it is UR?

My email said it will be sent to the committee and evaluated in the order in which it was completed. No clue if that means we'll get an under-review notification.

End of January is when they went out last year

almost positive that they don't do UR. It's complete ---> decision. And furthermore, it stayed "complete" long after I got my decision in the mail. CLS not super tech savvy with the admissions.
