Yeah - that happened with me for other status checkers also. It just means that you're getting a decision really soon, like maybe today or def next week.

I know i've asked this before, but is it bad form if I give Brooklyn a call and ask for an update? I submitted 11/18 and have been sitting under review since 12/22.

A lot of us have been waiting longer. I don't think that length of time warrants a call.. waiting sucks, but it's only early February.

I went from "Under Review" on 12/14 to "In Review" on 1/28 and have been sitting there ever since. I'm certain it will be a rejection, I just wish they'd get it over with already.

I've been "In Review" since 1/3/2011--161, 3.65 from top liberal arts college, good softs, 2 years work experience as corporate paralegal, and have already been accepted at schools that, at least from a statistical standpoint, are more difficult to get in to than BLS. BLS is very much my first choice; does anyone think it would help if I paid the campus a visit? (I live in Brooklyn, and have visited the campus with friends but not in any way that the admissions comm would know about.)

You're welcome? I actually wasn't that worried, there are people on LSN with lower numbers who have already been admitted. I think Brooklyn is just pretty slow.

I know that there are people with lower numbers than me, but a) you give me hope that they will, in fact, make a decision someday and b) that I likely won't be the exception just because it's taking so long to hear.

Brooklyn is just one of the many, many slow schools out there (yes, I'm looking at you, U.C. schools!) ... I wouldn't worry!

i was waitlisted via status checker on 2/4, has anyone else been waitlisted? will i get a letter or email with additional information? so far, i haven't received anything!
