I'm a reverse splitter. Tough luck for me... we all know schools like regular splitters more...

Glad to have you! Maybe we can collectively up UMinn's LSAT and take down the GPA? Let's turn UofM into an OFFICIAL splitter school!

Because I really mean the suburbs- or metropolitan areas- rather than the cities. I lived outside KC most my life and while their are nice things in KC, I find its a better place to be near than in. Like chicago, rather live in Evanston then Lincoln Park.

Ah, got ya. Great answer, now I can appreciate your opinion rather than write it off as an "elitist big-city dweller" :-)

If anything I'm an elitist suburb dweller :D

You can have your 190k/year. I'll take my low cost of living, easy commute, well maintained, variety of activity without the elitism of that Brooklyn yoga class, safe and friendly town with an actual sense of community any day.

Lol. I feel lonely.

Edit: I have a feeling I'd be even lonelier in Minneapolis.

I'm down with that too! GPA is definitely overrated. Who tries freshman year, honestly?

I applied here and it is definitely one of the schools that I am most eager to hear back from. I'm a classic splitter with a 3.0/175, so it is hard to predict what kind of results I will get. But I am really interested in UMinn.

The dome collapse has made me question whether my warm fuzzy feelings about Minn were just the onset of pneumonia.

You shouldn't have ANY problem at Minnesota. If you do, then I'm SOL haha.

You'll never believe this if I tell you, but I ALSO applied to U of Minnesota. Gosh, darn, I think we both applied to all the same schools! What a coincidence!
I will try to figure out the probability of us ending up at the same school.

Reverse splitter is at least better than semi-reverse splitter. I have no idea what to expect- I'm borderline at so many schools...

I'll be quiet now... I'm just bored at home.

Nah, we just suck at infrastructure. First it was the I-35W bridge...
