Yet another date change to today the 29th though still only says complete. Wonder if anything new was added since I did my interview yesterday.

These "application completed" date changes are getting out of control haha

I wonder if the accepted people's status checkers stopped at 10/26... which was then their letters were postmarked. Because then we'd know not to expect a letter if your checker says today's date. Does that make any sense or am I crazy

I was actually just thinking that.. Though, my status checker stopped at 10/25 and I live in DC, so you'd think it wouldn't take more than 2-3 days to get to me

Only three people reviewing applications though so guess can't complain to much. Especially since less than a week in back on the 7th they already had nearly 1000 applications.

This is true. It's just that the postal service is such a mystery. How long will it take? When will the mail come? I wish they would just email... haha

The post man takes our mail to the same house number but on the next block everyday, no matter how many times I call and complain. So I have no freaking clue what's in my mail

Philadelphia suburbs. My mailman at school is flaky, so I requested all mail be sent to my parents address, hence my mom opening it. She said no little gifts like Duke sent, but it's printed on fancy paper with a personalized note.

Duke sent a lanyard and a notepad. My 11 year old cousin now has the lanyard and my mom took the notepad to subtly use at the law firm that represents her company.

I'm also complete the 25th yet no mail down here in FL.... meh, lookin like a rejection

Don't know if its significant, but the frequency of my status updates seems to be increasing. It was Once a week or so (8th - 15th, 20th) and now its every other day ( 25th, 27th, 29th ).

I feel a rejection coming on too, my numbers aren't necessarily up to snuff, but I was being semi-confident.

If I'm right, I've gone complete and updated on 10/8, 10/12, 10/22, 10/25, 10/27, 10/28, and 10/29.
Maybe they are deciding how to break it to me easy?

If you're reading this GULC; I can take it, there will be no hard feelings, and yes we can still go to the winter formal as friends.

Even if I don't go there, getting into Duke was a huge relief. At least we know we are going somewhere next year no matter what. And a good somewhere at that.

But back on topic, don't lose hope if you haven't heard yet. It seems as though very few people have gotten in so far. You aren't out of the running yet! Have faith!
