Tip for anyone who was going to take the shuttle from the airport-I just rented a car from Enterprise (under 24 rate) and it was significantly less expensive than the shuttle to and from BHM would have been.

Wish I could meet you guys at the bars, but I don't get in until 10:30.

Wow. Bama just sent a monster package via snail mail. Huge binder with everything to know about the law school which is composed by the current and past law school students. Also sent best places to eat, live, drink, etc.

Also had an offer of 15k scholarship in it for me

Apparently there is a summer program that they are offering (not sure if its for URMs only or what). Basically you take civil procedure during the summer and a legal writing class. Meaning you DON'T have to take it in Fall thus leaving you with a lighter load. Interesting.

Does the hotel have a bar? Those convention type places normally do. That might be the best bet to give everyone an opportunity to make it.

I'm headed that way right now. Rainy weather for driving. I'll try to make the meet up if I get there in time.

Yeah, they have a bar in the restaurant down stairs, it's kinda lame though...
Seems like most bars are too far to walk, esp. in the rain.

It's in the back of the building. It's literally directly to the right of the ballroom - may be closed.
