At this late in the cycle, I don't think anyone can tell you when you will get any money, if they even have any more. I'd say call/email and ask. Congrats on getting in, and good luck with money.

I think in this circumstance they might give you that extension! Call and ask, what's the worst that can happen?

The offer email I just got very kindly extended the deadline to 5/1 since my app (and thus the decision) was so late. I would email Vandy and just explain your extenuating circumstance; I don't see a reason they would turn you down.

I don't think all hope is lost. Most schools are backed up this year. I've been complete for a while and have yet to hear back from more than half of my schools. I don't know how Vandy works specifically, but I'm certain they're still admitting, based on last years LSN info.

td, are you coming to Vandy for sure?

Nope. It's down to Vandy or GW at this point though (unless my some ridiculous miracle I get into Chicago). I'm driving to Nashville tomorrow, then taking a tour and sitting in on a class on Friday. Then the next weekend, I go to GW's preview day.

I'd pretty much settled on GW because I didn't expect any scholarship from Vandy... but then I got one. And that complicates matters quite a bit.
