So I know this has been discussed literally everywhere on this thread, but I'm driving myself insane so I'm just going to ask you all again: does being able to generate your asw credentials 100% mean you've been accepted?? I was just able to do it and didn't interview, so I'm freaking out that I'm dreaming this up or something.

We just need to put it in the OP and the what to expect thread that this means you're admitted.meowatme123 wrote:So I know this has been discussed literally everywhere on this thread, but I'm driving myself insane so I'm just going to ask you all again: does being able to generate your asw credentials 100% mean you've been accepted?? What's that? It's already in both of those places? And on every page of this thread? Super weird.
(Congrats.)

I know i know i know. I've seen it in all of those places, and internally hated everyone who has posted something like what I just posted. But for whatever reason when its you... and youre a crazy law student applicant... its different! thanks though.

Sorry, you were the unlucky recipient of all of the built-up snark from this question being asked daily. Seriously, congrats! You're a Hoya Lawya.meowatme123 wrote:BirdLawExpert wrote:We just need to put it in the OP and the what to expect thread that this means you're admitted.meowatme123 wrote:So I know this has been discussed literally everywhere on this thread, but I'm driving myself insane so I'm just going to ask you all again: does being able to generate your asw credentials 100% mean you've been accepted?? Held late january, deadline for the decision is approaching this Friday. I couldn't sign in today and I'm really hoping that doesn't mean I'll be in the WL/ding group on Friday. I DID submit an optional essay on 2/18 though so maybe it'll take a little longer to review it again.

Wait, you only went complete 2/4, after only applying 2/1 and got admitted already? I've been complete for over a month with no contact whatsoever.meowatme123 wrote:Applied 2/1, complete 2/4.hopefuljumbo23 wrote:When did you go complete?meowatme123 wrote:So I know this has been discussed literally everywhere on this thread, but I'm driving myself insane so I'm just going to ask you all again: does being able to generate your asw credentials 100% mean you've been accepted?? What happens if you try to generate ASW and are not accepted?
How do you even try to do this?

You get an error message that says "sorry there's no password for you at this time"EastCoastICU wrote:What happens if you try to generate ASW and are not accepted?

You go to the admitted student website and click NO PASSWORD and it asks you for your last name and email address and then you try to generate a password and if you're like me it doesn't work.

So I was able to successfully generate credentials but when I tried logging in with them I received an error message about invalid credentials. I'm confused.

Yet I laugh.

To what extent has the Monday=Acceptance (via ASW) and the Friday=W/L or Ding been substantiated? Seen it referenced a few times. Is that a hard and fast rule or just a general trend that people have noticed with some exceptions?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
