Yep.Hildegard15 wrote:For me, it's writing an essay that sounds genuine and not completely feeling-less. The materials from michigan have made it so easy to write. The duke one is just so contrived right now.benwyatt wrote:Aside from the regular distractions of the internet, I don't find it that hard to write a "Why X" essay.slippin_jimmy wrote:
I was actually alarmed at how easy my 'Why Michigan' essay was. Marketing materials get me so hype.
All the examples I've seen tend to hover around the 300-500 word range anyway and that's a pretty easy goal to hit.

Hey, I know that I'm late to the party, but would anyone be willing to look at my personal statement? It has been scrutinized and edited heavily already, I'm just having trouble making it as relevant to law school as it should be. If someone would be willing to, please just PM me, and I'll send it over.
Of course I would be willing to help anyone else too. Thanks.

forreal. I'm at a loss for QBs, I almost always take Brady in round 2/3, but doesn't seem like that's the move this year.urbanist11 wrote:Lol you got luckyscandk wrote:I was about to make a post apologizing for missing the draft, but it sounds like it got pushed back. whew.

Hilde, I sent you a PM. I'm not sure if you received it, because the website states that it is in my outbox rather than my sent. Where I'm from that means that the message is sending, but I don't know for sure what it means on this site.

Welp, now I feel like some old coot that doesn't know how this newfangled technology works. I appreciate the clarification.benwyatt wrote:Here it means if has been sent but not opened.Dcc617 wrote:Hilde, I sent you a PM. Well, I wrote a lot of words, and they are shaped like an essay... does that count?benwyatt wrote:

I'm hoping to get a draft of my "Why Michigan?" essay done today. There are two clinics that Michigan offers that I can tie to personal experiences. I just have to decide which one I can write the better essay on.

Drinks don't count as breakfast, silly.Generally wrote:Just had my oat meal second breakfast. First breakfast was a latte.benwyatt wrote:Maybe too early for lunch, but I'm currently having second breakfast.barley wrote:Is it too early for lunch?
ETA: to be fair, first breakfast was a protein shake.
