Right. This was confusing. My UR2 is 3/4. Changed shortly after interview. No update since.Theopliske8711 wrote:Same here. But I think 3/4 is my UR2.vuthy wrote:Interesting. I don't think it will change again until they are ready to make decisions, at this point. And I bet decisions will come in a wave.vuthy wrote:Right. This was confusing. My UR2 is 3/4. So I'm on the WL and just realized a glaring gramatical error in my LOCI
. When I applied to undergrad at UChicago I accidently put another school in the last paragraph and somehow still got accepted. Hoping for a similar result this time.

I was predicting decisions this week, but since they didn't happen yesterday I'm going to say next week. Chicago has been maintaining a consistent Tuesday-release schedule thus far.persephone123 wrote:+1Estreetshuffler wrote:Same, update 3/10 but my interview was Friday.zhcrobert wrote:UR2 right after my interview yesterday.angels2fly wrote:Second UR update 3/10 since interview last Wed!

In the last two decision waves, there's been a UR update on Friday, then a wave on Tuesday at around 4:20pm central. In the first wave, @UChicagoLawApps sent out a tweet on Friday indicating that decisions were coming, in the second wave, the tweet only came a few hours before decisions.Theopliske8711 wrote:Isn't there a last UR a few before decisions?midwest17 wrote:

I haven't the faintest idea. I was just saying what happened in the last two waves (or at least, what I remember happening).angels2fly wrote:So we should expect UR this friday if decisions are coming next week?AFP wrote:In the last two decision waves, there's been a UR update on Friday, then a wave on Tuesday at around 4:20pm central. Right, yeah -- sorry, I'm a bit off my game. So the expectation is UR updates starting on Friday, decisions Tuesday.Theopliske8711 wrote:Isn't there a last UR a few before decisions?midwest17 wrote:

I am now UR2 as of 3/10 yet I never received an interview request. From reading the "What to expect…" thread this doesn't make any sense. Has this happened to anyone else??
Edit: I only went UR1 on 3/4 fwiw

Yeah. There are a decent number of us who went UR2 w/ no interview request (myself, UR2 2/9, still no decision). IIRC, others waited as long as a week between UR2 and interview request.YouGoGlenCoCo wrote:I am now UR2 as of 3/10 yet I never received an interview request. Re: Chicago c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
So I'm going to be in Chicago for Northwestern's ASW and I was thinking about contacting U Chicago with a request to sit in on a class while I'm in town. My thinking is that this might be able to mildly demonstrate to them my continued interest in their program. In addition, I can try to look at their courses and pick one that I am interested in in particular.
My reticence though is twofold. First, because I'm not accepted yet, does this just seem like I'm trying too hard? Second, they obviously know when Northwestern's ASW is, so would they take my attempt as insincere?
I obviously don't want to come off in a negative light (none of us do), but it honestly would be nice to check out the campus because I'm sure as hell not booking two flights even if I do end up being accepted to Chicago. Lastly, I think I could write a nice loci after my visit talking about how much I loved the campus and the class I sat in on, assuming this is the case of course. What do you guys think?

Your visiting is not going to make a difference one way or the other. And they certainly won't care that you're in town for NU's ASW. So just ask them what your options are for visiting classes.YouGoGlenCoCo wrote:So I'm going to be in Chicago for Northwestern's ASW and I was thinking about contacting U Chicago with a request to sit in on a class while I'm in town.
