I'm pretty sure I've seen this question asked somewhere earlier in this thread, but I don't remember seeing an answer - so bear with me... Have there been any documented interview ---> rejects?

I'm sure there are because it's hard to believe that all WLs after the interviews get off the WL.ht2988 wrote:I'm pretty sure I've seen this question asked somewhere earlier in this thread, but I don't remember seeing an answer - so bear with me... Well, duh. But, has anybody on TLS posted about being straight up rejected after the interview?WalkingPlato wrote:I'm sure there are because it's hard to believe that all WLs after the interviews get off the WL.ht2988 wrote:I'm pretty sure I've seen this question asked somewhere earlier in this thread, but I don't remember seeing an answer - so bear with me... Re: Chicago c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
I don't think so. They reject people before sending invites to interviews, meaning that those who receive and interview are likely admits. Considering that it takes them so long to do the interviews, and that they seem to be running behind, askin someone to an interview with the possibility of rejecting them doesn't seem logical. It seems as if they're just double checking that we aren't crazy.ht2988 wrote:Well, duh. Thanks - I'm getting exhausted by this cycle and need some reassurance that there's still (always) hope. Best of luck tomorrow!WalkingPlato wrote:I don't think so. Held at HLS as well, but I guess I squeaked into Columbia. I gave up trying to figure out anything out long ago. Congrats on the scholarship, though!Anonymous4444 wrote:held at columbia and hls and 120 k to chicago... what am i doing?

holy crap congrats! some great $$ offers here. I ended up with only 45k, which (TLS tells me) is not enough to take over nyu. Going to have to negotiate ugh.Anonymous4444 wrote:held at columbia and hls and 120 k to chicago... what am i doing?

Dammit. I didn't get an interview invite, so I'm guessing my ding is coming tomorrow.NoChainz wrote:http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 22&t=79373Anonymous4444 wrote:The whole negotiating thing scares me... Got my aid letter today as well. Same as banjo, 45K total. I think I'll try to negotiate, but I have no idea how well that will turn out since I'm not working with a ton of leverage.
Congrats to everyone who received awards!

Complete in late Jan, UR 3/1. Did not receive an interview request last night.
numbers: 176/3.6 Does the lack of request likely mean a ding?

No because you just went UR recently. My UR was in February and applicants from my UR batch were interviewed, which is why I think/know my ding is coming today.manti5 wrote:Complete in late Jan, UR 3/1. Did not receive an interview request last night.

Also 45k here... haven't received an offer from NYU yet so I'll probably wait on the negotiation.

So these scholly offers are coming via post, I'm gathering? Any way for someone who STUPIDLY happens to be out of town at the moment to access this info?

It was the "yesterday" part that I was very unhappy about. I'm assuming if you received no email yesterday, you're receiving no money.Regulus wrote:Yeah, they are informing people by email.... but why would you be unhappy if you said you are out of town and they are sending it via email?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
