So this is basically like being waitlisted, after looking at previous year's threads, right?

Can anyone confirm or deny? I haven't had a chance to really, really go through everything.

Same. No decision here. That worries me.... Because what's the only type of decision that hasn't gone out yet? That's right- rejections.

I should point out that I was admitted to Cornell in a previous cycle and declined in order to retake the LSAT. So that may have sent them the message that I wasn't serious about the school (although I really would have considered it with a decent scholarship).

Wasn't the case for me. I even wrote a pretty quality "Why Cornell?"

I actually don't feel too bad about our chances (those of us who got deferred). They admitted a ton of 17x LSATs who will withdraw in favor of Harvard, Columbia, Chicago, et al. in the coming months. Most of us will probably get WL in February or March and move up the list thereafter.
