I think it's like The Ring, where you have to get someone else to withdraw, also. Get someone else to withdraw, and make sure they get someone else to withdraw, and so on. I'll close it out at the end by being the ... um ... the last to withdraw. Yep, that's it.subtle wrote:Should I have received confirmation that I withdrew? Actually, facebook probably would have been a better link. Be a creeper and look up any admitted students they've put you in contact with--you know, the ones who are supposed to answer your questions.
This is a legitimate question to be asked.
(In the event that that comes across bitchily, it's not supposed to.)

i dont like google much for stuff like bars and restaurants... its my personal opinion that if you take the time to write a google review for a bar youre not fun to drink with.. maybe no reviews = the perfect choice?
and ill know after this week if im depositing there or not.. so possibly ill free up a spot for someone... gl with the wl regardless

It's cool. I already withdrew.
Also, I'd never thought of it like that. I'm going to start thinking of google reviews like that though.

You'll be coming to the Leafe with meeeeeee!gatorlizzy28 wrote:harsh. lol. I hope someone responds to the original question though so I know where to go during ASW this weekend.
For real though, I'll be at the Green Leafe Friday night if anyone would like to join me! It's one of the regular hangouts for W&M students, it's a pretty cute little bar. There aren't a whole lot of options since Williamsburg has a tavern law (no business can get more than 50% of it's revenue from alcohol sales), and it's a bit pricey, but the Leafe will be pretty fun on a Friday night.

I would say to visit. That will do much more than a LOCI.

Oh campaign work? Been there, done that. Not fun stuff and pays terribly most of the time. I sat out the 2010 season. Wasn't worth the effort. Every Dem candidate in Oklahoma was going to lose regardless of the effort put in campaigning.SrLaw wrote: Not as much as I should. Welcome to working for the governor during election season. It has made for awesome W/E and being the youngest on his staff has been pretty cool.
ETA: Yeah it is some great W/E. My former boss is now the Dem. State Senate Caucus leader and said he'd write me a rec letter whenever I need one. Not a bad connection to have.

Absolutely not the case in Texas. I can guarantee you that we outworked our opponents three-fold. The 2010 election was more about the tea party wave and the national mood of the country than anything.byronmullens wrote: Huh? I think a few won by out campaigning opponents...
I definitely feel you about campaign work, srlaw. It was atleast 14+ hrs a day 7 days a week with a fixed salary paying peanuts. Needless to say I think I'm done with campaign work lol

I just think every undermines the hard work of some campaigners. See Cory Williamshttp://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/15/us/15oklahoma.html, not gonna argue with you Flips about the bad cycle but even in the face of emotional charged misinformed arguments, truth sometimes prevails.Flips88 wrote:Governor: Republicanbyronmullens wrote: Huh? Does anyone know when/how we find out student loan information (from the FAFSA)? I submitted several weeks ago and I know at least one of my schools has received it. I might call in a few days
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
