I have been at "File Complete, Pending Review/Decision" since 11/6. Anyone else?

Hi everyone,

I'm been lurking this site for a while now. I received a call during the first week of January letting me know that I was admitted to UVA; but I haven't received my acceptance packet yet. Has this happened to anyone else? (It's been about two weeks or so)

Go into your status checker and check what date they sent it out, it should be under "mailings" on the left hand side. If they sent it less than a week ago, don't worry about it yet. If there's nothing there or if it says it was sent over a week ago, I would call and ask.

I waited about a week for mine. I am sure it is fine. Maybe they sent it to your permanent address?

I've been admitted!

I submitted way back in September and was complete sometime in mid-October. Best of luck to everyone still waiting!

Do I send additional materials to Dean Dugas, or Mr. Dugas?
I'm just a little confused about the difference between dean and director of admissions.

Congrats!! I am in the same boat!!! In!!! Submitted and complete in September. Really thought I was destined for a waitlist because of the lowish GPA and out of state.

I'm below both medians and really should have been Rej/WL'd a while ago. I had an addendum in my app stating that I'm retaking the LSAT in Feb. Anyone think that this is the cause of the delay? If so, I could be waiting for a while.

LOCI sent today...and with that I believe that I am done with UVA. It has been an excruciating several months with a disappointing ending, which essentially describes my last relationship as well.

Congrats! Our cycles are pretty similar (then again our numbers are identical). Short of HYS are you leaning towards any 1 school?

Dugas, and I e-mailed it instead of hard copy. I debated about that for a while, but they made it a point in the e-mail and on the website that they are trying to be as paperless as possible.

I know this is super nit-picky, but did you say "Dean" Dugas?

I don't believe I did. His official title is "Director of Admissions", and the word Dean isn't on his profile page.
