For the month of November, so far we've got EAC's on the 4th, 9th, 11th, 13th, and 17th. Kind of a lot of the 13th and my inclusion in this group does not lead me to feel as confident about it as I once was.

Just kind of assuming those of you who made it through October are gold, but who knows at this point.

...Maybe they're trying to help the job situation and won't have a C/O 2013.

Their incoming class of 2009 LSAT median was 167.
They HAVE to be raising their median this year. Vanderbilt and UCLA (which is nipping at the heels of the T14) both have 168 medians and 169 at 75%. I wonder if Cornell has a lower median because they are more holistic than Vandy and UCLA, or, if Cornell just has a harder time drawing matriculants? I have a hard time believing the latter, but 167 at the median is kind of low for an old T14..

i don't think it'll be any better for splitters applying to cornell.

from looking at the previous cycle, if an applicant's gpa is 3.0-3.5 and an lsat of 167-169 it's safe to say that applicant won't be getting in. if an applicant has a gpa in that same range but an lsat of 170 or greater that applicant seems to have a 50/50 shot at getting in, and no more...no matter how many points over 170 his lsat score is.

+ there has been a 16% increase in apps at cornell so far this year compared to last year at the same time.

When you're "Early Action Complete" you know that they've received your LSAC report.

no...you just get an email after initial app received and then after your file has become complete.

I didn't make the EA deadline, so I am still stuck at "Applied-We have received your application and you are in our system." as of 11/17.

Watching the bloody massacre going on with you early applicants, and with my VERY mediocre numbers, I just want my application fee back.

Everytime I look it seems like this thread has grown atleast 5 pages, so I automatically assume people started getting in or something.. but nope haha. Cornell what are you doing?!

btw you have a really good chance of getting in. lsn shows that in last year's cycle 6/7 who applied with a 166, and a gpa of 3.8 or greater were admitted.

I'm EA Complete 11/16 (I think actually earlier since they updated my status twice) and I hope they got all the deferrals and rejections out of the way early.
