I was an ED applicant. I think mine changed to decision today it could have been earlier I haven't been checking...but my numbers are pretty bad too so it doesn't look good

I'm 172 2.71 AA male. So yeah, probable rejection. But I just graduated from Michigan UG this past December and my Mich GPA was a 3.82 and I graduated summa cum laude. I mean, I know LSAC GPA and USNWR ranking are king, but I think they'd show me a little love... maybe a pity WL?

Ok, I was in the 1/9 batch, able to log onto the ASW, but I'm not actually at my mailing address until this weekend. Hoping that just means I'm in.

Anyway, anyone who has received their packet, can you tell me if they offer travel stipends to attend their admitted students days? I'm so pumped to fly up there and freeze my arse off!

Anyone planning on attending the first preview days? I was planning on visiting Cornell that weekend, but I'd rather visit Michigan (only have so many vacation days, so I gotta make a choice).

Yeah I logged in on Saturday when I saw I went to decision. Hadn't been able to log on previously. But from what it sounds like, they could've fixed it so you can't. There seem to be people that should be in and can't log in.

I think most people won't know if they are truly part of the 1/9 batch or 1/11 (except those who checked sunday) since the update changes every day. So those who checked today, might actually be of the 1/9 batch.

Wasn't eligible. I had the 3.8+ part, but only at Michigan for 4 semesters, not 6.

Just checked the GPA breakdown. If schools could report degree-granting GPA I'd be at/above both 75%s. In the running for the Darrow, URM notwithstanding.

How were you able to get into UMich if you your GPA wa so bad before? (I'm assuming it must have been for 2 years of a 3.8 to only result in a 2.7). Or is your LSAC GPA low due to weird reasons?

My GPA at my previous undergrad was BAD. But I had phenomenal SAT/ACT scores. That, combined with one good letter of rec from a prof I was close with and lots of begging got me into Michigan.
