So my mailbox has become a sort of Schrödinger's cat box. The Stanford rejection letter might be in there, or it might not be. I've been out of town for two days and may not be returning for another 10 days.

So for now, I'll just pretend it's not there. But if I don't get an email or phone call from Dean Deal in the next week or so, I'll fully expect to find a dead cat in my mailbox come April 12th.
