Did anyone who got a merit-based scholarship offer not receive the feeler email?

Are people trying to renegotiate by giving gtown a specific number or just asking for an increase?

Joining the party late. I just got waitlisted (not preferred
) What are my actual chances of getting in from the second class list? Has anyone been accepted since being waitlisted yet?

So does the way the merit aid and the need based aid works here is that you only get the higher offer? You can't have both your merit aid award and a need based award combined right?

To those who got scholarship info, had you already filled out your Yellow Application (on the Georgetown Admitted Students website) in addition to responding to the feeler? I just submitted my Yellow App today and I'm wondering if that's holding it up...
Wait.... what's the yellow form?! Lol.
(Already got my offer but don't think I did a yellow form)

FYI - called this morning and they said more waves will be released up until they "run out of funding" -- could be any time. They also said that we would be notified with an email either way.

Cool thanks- so at a certain point there's no point in filling out the whole CSS profile or anything because there is no way the need based aid would be more than the merit youve received? Like what is a regular amount for need based aidtinafeyclone wrote:That's correctjlc058 wrote:So does the way the merit aid and the need based aid works here is that you only get the higher offer? At the admitted students weekend they said they don't give more than $35k/yr in need-based, so if your merit aid was more than that then I wouldn't botherjlc058 wrote:Cool thanks- so at a certain point there's no point in filling out the whole CSS profile or anything because there is no way the need based aid would be more than the merit youve received? And if so, how do I do that??tinafeyclone wrote:At the admitted students weekend they said they don't give more than $35k/yr in need-based, so if your merit aid was more than that then I wouldn't botherjlc058 wrote:Cool thanks- so at a certain point there's no point in filling out the whole CSS profile or anything because there is no way the need based aid would be more than the merit youve received? I really did not know this about Georgetown. Undergrad was a combination of merit and need based aid. You can't get a combination offer at GULC, then?
