I know this has been discussed a bit, but I couldn't find anything definitive after searching. How long are applications typically "complete; ready for review" before they go "under review?" I've been at complete for two weeks now and wondering when it will change.

Uhhhh I just got put on the priority reserve. I have a 3.9/175 and now I'm worried I have some major flaw in my application. My letters of recommendation are really good (I've read them), and my softs are decent. Now I have to write a "Why Duke..." Is yield protection a common thing or just a way to rationalize our failures?

With those numbers, It's most likely you got YP.

Thanks man, I hope so. It's just so embarrassing because I'm from NC and my mom is obsessed with Duke. Hopefully the rest of my cycle goes better.

I had my scholarship interview with Dean Hoye the other day btw and he was so nice! Standard questions talking about my "journey" and how I arrived at my decision to pursue law, what I wanted to do after I graduated, etc.

Some RD people have been sitting UR since opening day, I'm sure. I know a few have been since at least October.

Yea, it's been fun. I've embraced the wait, grown a beard, and have put on a few pounds to make it through winter. When I applied way back in the day I received my ding on February 25th so my body is getting ready. Sorry about your dings in the some of the other threads that's rough.
