99.9% sure I'm going to be WL or dinged, so a little part of me hopes that they ignore me for another week or so, that way I can withdraw because I didn't waNT NYU ANYWAY OKAY.

been quietly reading this thread for almost half a year, so i figured it'd be a good time to speak up! app hasn't been reviewed since 12/12. woke up this morning with the strong feeling that we'd get some news today (though i've told myself that multiple times this year, and it's always been a false feeling)

Tomorrow is my one-year anniversary of being WL'd last year. Statistically, I have a great chance of getting off the WL (I withdrew last year right away), so I wish they would just bring it on already.

UR1 1/7. There's only one remotely reasonable explanation for this madness. We will be WLd. They don't care about us depositing somewhere else cause that's how the waitlist works: you withdraw from school X and accept your waitlist offer at NYU. But I can only imagine how furious people will be if NYU just dings us all after this hellish ride #DLSocalypse

I already sent a deposit to another school, but am holding off on signing a lease until I hear back from NYU. My future roomie isn't too thrilled with the situation.

Just want to say how incredibly annoyed I am going to be no matter what the outcome if my file is never reviewed. It's ridiculous that the only UR I have is the date my app went complete.

Withdrew my application. I submitted in November. FWIW, I withdrew two days ago and they still haven't gotten back to me. So maybe they'll tell me they got my email in... June?
