Meanwhile...as NU offers interviews for held candidates, some of us continue to patiently wait for an initial decision...

+1 This Friday marks 10 weeks since complete for me. Although I know there's still some people waiting who submitted IN 2014! so I can't really complain.
Went complete in Nov. 2014, interviewed end of December -- all quiet on the western front except a status update in February. NU is a reach school for me, so I figure I'm not getting in, but just let me know one way or the other! lol

They put me on hold last week. Seems like they would have at least done that.

But who knows... this is a weird ass cycle.

Am on the hold list and signed up for a hold interview mid-April. Does it matter when I submit my hold essay in terms of ASAP, before the interview, or by the deadline?

On Friday I'm going to withdraw and ask for my application fee back.

Also notice that the admitted students weekend for northwestern is the latest. April 11? So I assume we'll get a decision between now and then.

Ten weeks for me :-)

Some people reported being offered an interview with their hold notification. I didn't, but requested one, and received an invitation a few weeks later. The invitation made no mention of my request, and I received no other reply.

I got a pretty generic email saying they were starting to offer interviews for hold candidates who didn't get to interview earlier in the app process. at first it seemed like they had sent it out to everyone on hold but apparently some people didn't receive it.

Is the fact that Johann is tweeting pictures from admitted student gatherings a sign that they're done making decisions?
