Yeah - so, is it May 1 or within the next 2-3 weeks? Or does "in 2-3 weeks" mean at the END of 2-3 weeks, ie, May 1? ARGH.

Miranda,

Maybe you've already addressed this, but did you do the interview (either on or off campus)?

With your numbers/WE, you should be a shoo-in.

I don't think there's hope. It seemed like last year they accepted holds on the same day...followed by rejections/waitlists...

Nancy Botwin, maybe they just accepted a few holds today, like 2013esq, and more will go out tomorrow??? Maybe we should try and stay optimistic until tomorrow night... :?

Go to Northwestern. $100k at WUSTL is nice, but Northwestern is easily worth the extra.

Congratulations, 2013esq! I reaaally hope that's not it for acceptances from the hold list. Not that this is at all a scientific way to go about it, but I sort of thought there'd be more than ONE TLSer admitted in any given batch. Plus, 2013esq is a URM--perhaps they're working on their URM yield right now? Surely that's not it...

I mean, you really think they would tweet this:
@NBotwin10 Hello! You should most likely hear something in the next two to three weeks. Thanks for your patience!
...if all the action was coming in the next two to three days? Nah, they're gonna drag this out as long as possible.

P.S. Nice job breaking their radio silence, Botwin.

Good point.

I was thinking this too - especially since we know of at least one URM who recently withdrew, so it's possible they just grabbed 2013 to fill his spot?

Thanks for the advice! I thought I'd give my right arm for a NU acceptance but now I'm stressing about making a decision!

Thanks! It is weird that I'm the only acceptance on TLS today. Maybe it is the URM yield.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
