Complete mid-November with a date change early December and nothing since then. I have to let other schools know by 4/1 and I'm getting worried I won't hear from NU by then. Northwestern is my top choice and I was wondering if there's an acceptable way to reach out or if I should just be patient? Thanks!

To clarify, it is NOT the AJD program. I heard that NU does not break out employment statistics for AJD, JD/MBA or 2yr JD, so it is impossible to tell from their websites.
To be honest, it is hard to get in big law with 2YJD cause it is not traditional program. Most big laws reject your resume.

Has anyone that has interviewed since being held seen a date change or status update on their status tracker? I ask because I have not yet, but I remember people getting status changes a day or two after their interview earlier in the cycle.

The previous years NU applicant threads are probably useful!

Spoke to an admissions person. They said we should see financial aid packages on Monday optimistically. Sounds more like a Tuesday or Wednesday to me.

Checking in. Complete on 1/12, date change on 1/30.

NU, NYU, and Duke are the schools I'm still waiting on.

No reply to email and just someone who told me over the phone to wait a little longer (this was in late february). Well a month has gone by now, 18 weeks since my complete date and still no decision. No accept, no reject, no waitlist, just.. complete. I applied to 6 other schools, all of which have at least gotten back to me with something. I give up NU. For anyone still waiting from the beginning of the cycle, good luck. This was such a frustrating process. I'm so disappointed with NUs admissions office.

:( Sorry it's been such a frustrating process for you. Hopefully, though, you got some excellent offers from other schools. While I obviously get that a lot goes into law school admissions, I just don't get how it could possibly take more than 18 weeks to make an initial decision on an applicant. If it's really that tough of a call, I wish they would at least wait list you guys so that you would have an idea of where you stand.

Best of luck to you.

Same boat. I would stay hopeful.

Northwestern evaluates their applicants holistically beyond just numbers, so I'd take it as a good sign. I am very eager for my decision as well, but Northwestern is definitely my top choice, so fingers crossed.

Just got it as well. Missed the original interview deadline. Wasn't offered one upon being held, requested one (no reply until now).

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
