So do you guys think it would be annoying if we emailed Admissions asking what to expect if they're late on the 3 week ED notification process? 9 days past the 3 week mark now and I'm nervous!

I think you're in for sure, your email would have came but your letter can still be traveling

Ah thanks for the encouragement and support! Unfortunately, I live in DC and my last (and second) status update was 1/29.....Thinking they're getting ready to let me go....

Im living in DC too...from what i've read in the thread it seems like the office is just really behind

I went priority held in December.

Updated my app with a new LoR from a recent employer and a LOCI. Received confirmation email from them that they received both.

However no movement on the status checker. Dunno if status checker is relevant anymore... we'll see I guess.

I didn't express "why georgetown" anywhere, and got in.

I think if you're going to express it, once is probably enough.

I just submitted a "why gulc?" essay on monday to be added to my app because I freaked out too since I hadn't personalized anything to Georgetown (but did apply ED)

I did, I had a complete on 1/31 and then on 2/3 and was successfully able to request one on 2/4.

Does everyone who is admitted have to go through an interview first, or are some people admitted without an interview? I've had three different "complete" dates about one week apart, and no request for an interview yet.

You can be admitted without an interview.

For all of us on Hold, they've either mailed A LOT of acceptances this week or tomorrow is a huge day for WL/Dings
