Oh my god, I have never been so happy to see the words "submitted for review". Hanging in there for another wave it seems.
Unfortunately I am sitting in the "held" stack it seems, so I hope on the next look they see something they really like in my app that they glanced over before

When did you apply, and when did you get your review status, may I ask?pseu wrote:Oh my god, I have never been so happy to see the words "submitted for review". Hanging in there for another wave it seems.

Does anyone know what time the status checkers change/update for the day?
I'm trying (really hard) to only check my status once a day so that I don't drive myself crazy.

It's even more fun to announce rejections with (you know, after I've stopped crying and probably do resemble my avatar a great deal).

I've been UR since 1/23. Is there anything I can gleam from that or is that normal?

That's all you're gonna get until DLS.dcruss wrote:I've been UR since 1/23. Is there anything I can gleam from that or is that normal?
Everyone who hasn't had a decision yet has been UR since they've gone complete.

Is there a general turnaround from UR to DLS/Call or is it varied?barrelofmonkeys wrote:That's all you're gonna get until DLS.dcruss wrote:I've been UR since 1/23. Is there anything I can gleam from that or is that normal?

Is there a difference between "under review" and "submitted for review?

Applied late November, UR same day (I think - that's what the status checker says anyway)Moltenmama wrote:When did you apply, and when did you get your review status, may I ask?pseu wrote:Oh my god, I have never been so happy to see the words "submitted for review". So will dings continue to trickle out or are we expecting more wave-like sequences?

Checking in. Applied 2/3, submitted for review 2/13. Stanford's my top choice, but probably a reach. Still, I'll take anything in California. I can't stand winter.

No DLS today? It seems that DLS was for apps from September to early November so far

Re: Stanford c/o 2017 (2013-2014 applicants)
Got my DLS yesterday. Checked the status around 4pm EST, saw that a decision letter had been sent, looked up what that meant on this thread and decided to wait til the end of the workday to see if I had been WL or rejected. Rejected. For anyone who is worried about calling in the future after receiving a DLS, they seemed happy to check my file for me and give me the answer directly rather than making me wait for the mail.
177, 3.6+, above average softs (probably close to average for SLS admits), 11/6/13 sent and received. I missed or may have inadvertently deleted the email where it went Under Review. FWIW Law School Predictor said "Strong Consider" and 62% at or below, but myLSN told a different story: 1/28 accepted with 0/28 waitlisted for those with LSAT 176-180 and GPA 3.60-3.70 since 2009-2010 cycle. Needless to say, I'm not upset about missing the boat here. Have only been focusing my hopes on HLS among the big 3 anyway.
Sorry LS22, I don't feel like making a new gmail account to post these numbers.
ETA: Non-URM.
