I called admissions, financial aid doesn't do scholarships, just need-based stuff I think.

Saturday will be twelve weeks for me, and Monday I have two more big deposit deadlines. I think I'm getting anxious about BC for the first time!

Congrats! It's been 10 weeks for me. I too have a deposit due Monday. Hopefully they are still making decisions this weekend

I think BC might be closed on Monday (Marathon Monday / patriots day).

yes, the whole Uni is closed for Patriot's Day -- a state holiday. (The Marathon course runs right past BC....)

called admissions for increase in merit money, they asked I email for increase in $ - everybody else seems to get increases with a simple phone call - what am I doing wrong - all advice accepted - wanted - needed!!!!

I emailed them with copies of my other offers and they gave me an increase within a few days. Not sure how much that helps at this point though.

Just emailed admissions to withdraw. Freed up some $$ and a seat for those waiting. Best of luck!
Also, I got an automated response that they would be closed on Monday for Patriots' Day. Those waiting will likely have to wait until Tuesday.

Finally decided on BC.
It was really tough because I visited Emory's ASD and loved it this weekend, and was really considering pulling the trigger there.

So is the deposit put towards tuition when they bill you for tuition? like, are my checks going to be cashed or just held?
