If i recall correctly, which i am pretty sure i do lol, there was someone on the Arizona State Post that was discussing how they were waitlisted last year and then accepted with 15k. I think the individual even deferred and was still able to get 10k this year.. hope that helps at all

I'm fairly sure that Minnesota let in a few people very late last year with pretty nice $$, but I'm not sure if that's the norm or whether it's something that is prevalent at W&M.

lulz. I think they accepted who they wanted, rejected those with sub-par grades and put EVERYONE ELSE on the waitlist. Must be at least 300 people on it.

They don't take many from the WL

If I remember correctly, they worded the WL letter last year as a de facto rejection. Eg, "don't plan on coming here"

I remember someone mentioned that there were 4 or 5 people on lsn who had apparently been WL, then visited, and were admitted around 3 days later...keep it in mind..
