Based on these posts I wouldn't worry about the admitted students site right now. I take back what I said before. At the very least some of these #s have to be waitlists.

so since i didn't check the status until today, there's no way to tell if i'm of the 1/9 or 1/11 wave?

Nope, no way to really tell. Statuses update every day except for Sundays.

I checked yesterday, almost 100% sure it was still complete.

what's the avg wait time before you know your decision after having gone into decision? and is it all by snail mail? or does the status tell you your decision in a few days or email?

Snail mail I believe. They say they don't post "Decision" until at least a couple days after they've mailed your letter to minimize stress.

I got the letter the same day my checker went to Decision, if that helps.

ok so I know this may not be the best question to ask at this point but... is it possible there's a difference between the 1/9 batch and 1/11 batch? I.e. with one being stronger or weaker? some of the 1/11 ppl seem pretty strong

we can't really tell if one went to decision 1/9 or 1/11. well i guess those who checked on the weekend can but for the rest, some 1/11 may have gone into decision on 1/9. Either ways it seems to be a mixed bag of candidates. im expecting a rejection.

I'm definitely not in the 1/9 batch. I checked on saturday and sunday (sad, i know) and i was still at complete. I also think both of those are most likely a mixed bag, expecting rejection

You guys are putting way too much thought into this. A difference of two days, over a weekend? Come on.

I'm 99% positive that the menial tasks like compiling information into applicant profiles and making updates are done by clerical workers, not admissions officers, and I'm say 90% confident that those clerical works work weekends in busy times like these. Unless there turns out to be some trend that indicates otherwise, I'd essentially put money down that there was one big batch of decisions, and for some of you the workers got your profiles updated in time for Saturday, and for the rest they didn't get them in for Saturday, so they rolled to Monday.

As an admitted student I've been having issues with the ASW myself, and like I posted before, I really wouldn't be surprised if they did something to curtail ASW decisions, and will give people access later...
