I'd assume that is the case. They'd know how many spots they have to work with at that time.Shellbelle wrote:oh nooo I really hope this isn't the case

I sort of hope this IS the case. It seems like they'd be more likely to admit some folks (as opposed to WL'ing them) AFTER the deposit deadline, when they may have some slots to fill.Shellbelle wrote:oh nooo I really hope this isn't the case

Re: Northwestern 2010
I called yesterday and asked when they expected to give decisions to people currently on hold and the answer was that May 1st would be the day.

Re: Northwestern 2010
this is a good point. I wonder if they plan on letting all of us know. Northwestern has been my top choice since the beginning, but their lack of communication and the constant missing of self-imposed deadlines is starting to cause my patience to wear thin. Then again, none of it will matter if I am accepted come May 1st - would be happy as a clam!Encyclopedia Brown wrote:I sort of hope this IS the case. i would hope not. they were already pulling people from the waitlist in may last year. maybe there won't be a waitlist at all this year and we'll all get definitive decisions may 1.apples wrote:may 1?! ugh.

nancybotwin asked about decisions for hold applicants on twitter. the reply: @NBotwin10 Hello! You should most likely hear something in the next two to three weeks. Thanks for your patience!

GPA>75%, LSAT <25%, applied reaaallly late, so I really don't think it's going to pan out well. Maybe a rejection, maybe another waitlist?
