Has anybody who applied in early January heard anything?

Nada here too (1/11 complete). I assume based on all these posts an interview is a pre-req for admittance, so since I haven't heard jack for over a month, it's probably not a good sign I take it as it's getting late in the cycle for non-WL afaik.(take this with a grain of salt as the wait is just making me paranoid)

Just was able to generate an ASW login! Complete 1/5, interviewed Monday.

How does this work? Do you just go on the admitted students website, click no password, put in your info, and hope they email you with login credentials? (Before even receiving a letter of acceptance)?

Interviews definitely aren't required for admittance. And timing seems to vary - from LSN, it seems like a lot of people are waiting 2 months - admits included. Definitely don't lose hope!

No...this is how everyone gains access to the admitted students website. If you were waitlisted/rejected or are still pending, it will just give you an error, if you've been accepted then it'll generate login credentials for you. The admission letter doesn't really have any access information or anything in it.

^^^^^ Thank you guys for the responses above, I guess we're all still waiting. I haven't received any GTown emails, which is good......but also have not been able to login to the ASW, so there's that. I will just be more patient and hope an interview is not necessary for admission this late in the cycle!

Could be either you have been waitlisted/rejected, or that your decision is still pending. So even if you get an error, there might still be hope !

Just asking so that I can check every Monday and spare myself the rest of the days if nothing happens LOL

The only thing an error means is that you haven't been accepted (yet). There is no way to know if a negative decision has been made through this process. You will eventually either receive an email if you are waitlisted or rejected, or a letter in the mail if you are accepted. At least Georgetown doesn't make you wait for a snail mail rejection letter like Columbia.

I got my interview last Friday and I completed on 1/5 - slightly a week before you. Since my stats are above both 75ths, I doubt that my app were held anytime before interview request. In short, they may not get to your apps yet, so don't worry.

My bad. I mean I got interview request last Friday. Haven't been contacted by alumni yet, so I guess there is no point checking ASW atm.
