No, the box comes later. Although it seems that some people got the fancy pizza box and others (like me) got a small white box with a booklet and some post-it notes.

I just read your message, checked my email, saw an email with New York in the subject line AND made the same mistake even though I just read your post...

Having just received a rejection from NYU I had a brief moment of hope that they'd gotten it wrong, meant to accept me, and were now emailing me to tell me that everything was going to be okay. Instead, NYLS. I wish that crane had crushed the building.

Was very interested in NYU at the beginning of the cycle and still am. Wondering if I should reach out to indicate interest or accept that I'm likely getting a no/WL soon - thanks in advance.
