Got a blue envelope with my acceptance letter and enrollment form in it today. I take it that's not the pizza box?

I'm glad we've had pretty consistent solidarity here Polk! Although you've heard from CLS and I'm just waiting for that snail mail ding....James.K.Polk wrote:Sorry to hear it. September waiter still without decision here - I understand the relief.

Is anyone attending the admitted students reception in Los Angeles this week? Trying to figure out if more formal or business casual...

No, the box comes later. Although it seems that some people got the fancy pizza box and others (like me) got a small white box with a booklet and some post-it notes.gamerish wrote:Got a blue envelope with my acceptance letter and enrollment form in it today. I take it that's not the pizza box?

Dinged via email. I was waitlisted last year but I know that this cycle is more competitive. Good luck to you all!

Also received this today. My letter said that we'll soon receive a package of (additional) materials, so I'm guessing that'll be the pizza box!gamerish wrote:Got a blue envelope with my acceptance letter and enrollment form in it today. I take it that's not the pizza box?

Having just received a rejection from NYU I had a brief moment of hope that they'd gotten it wrong, meant to accept me, and were now emailing me to tell me that everything was going to be okay. Instead, NYLS. I wish that crane had crushed the building.getacluenancydrew wrote:I just read your message, checked my email, saw an email with New York in the subject line AND made the same mistake even though I just read your post...IcarusOnWheels wrote:Saw the little wave of decisions and checked my email...

Lmao same thing literally just happened to me. I bet they do that on purpose. Oh NYU is having a wave of acceptances today? Let's mess with some applicants and crush some hopesThe_Lorax wrote:Same thing here, talk about getting pump faked by a mass email. -_-IcarusOnWheels wrote:Saw the little wave of decisions and checked my email...

Can't tell if I have been spared here because I'm waiting for a Feb score or for some other odd reason but i know any optimism is probably unwarranted ugh

Been waiting since early October here - LSAT>75, GPA<25. Have heard from every other school I've applied to, basically.
Was very interested in NYU at the beginning of the cycle and still am. Wondering if I should reach out to indicate interest or accept that I'm likely getting a no/WL soon - thanks in advance.

This makes me feel a bit less bad. I'm LSAT=75%, GPA << 25%, and have been UR since late december (submitted mid-Dec).aviendha wrote:Been waiting since early October here - LSAT>75, GPA<25. Have heard from every other school I've applied to, basically.

Longtime lurker here. Went complete on Nov. 11, complete silence from NYU since. Got into Stanford, though, which was sublime. But still ...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
