So many people talking about super fast responses after the interview is making me nervous...
For what its worth, I interviewed in October and wasnt accepted until two weeks later
Thanks for the info.

I don't wanna get my hopes up, but I haven't seen anyone say they got an interview but didn't get in, or even got wait-listed.

Unfortunately there are people who have interviewed and later have received a non-acceptance decision, including several applicants in this thread who have posted about that.

I wouldn't dwell on this though. As others have stated, many people have been accepted days and even weeks following the interview!

Yes
did they send anything out about this? don't recall any information from the initial acceptance packet, but might have missed it.

Yes they sent it in an envelope. It may have been after the initial acceptance packet. I can't recall.

Bumping this because I too would like someone more skilled than I to make a class of 2019 thread

They're heavy contenders for me, and it certainly wouldn't hurt to get to say hi a few potential classmates before ASW.

Hi guys, popping in to say congratz to everyone already accepted :)

... I've been under review since Sept.17th (submitted my app early Sept.), and have heard absolutely nothing so far, no movement in status checker either. I've heard back from most schools I applied to already, so not sure what's going on with my UVA app, but I'm thinking it's because I screwed up by not doing a "Why UVA"... :o

I'm in a similar position, but not too concerned (relatively anyway) as I retook the LSAT in December. I am guessing that is not your case?

I also wouldn't worry too much. Easier said than done of course. But you just never know how things will land. In addition to admits there have been waitlists and dings. It could really be anything.

Maybe send along a LOCI if you don't hear back in a couple weeks?

Yeah no retake for me. I'm not too worried yet, just wondering if it might be YP or if there was something they didn't like about me. I will probably wait a bit longer before deciding whether I'll send a LOCI, thanks :)

Hi all. Checking in. Submitted my application today. Has there been any standard turn-around time for decisions or a trend that people are noticing? I know there are always exceptions to any rule, but maybe a general framework?

I've been under review since 12/3, though I am a URM. That's not good, right?

What type of URM? And are you below medians?

I submitted at the end of December and was admitted last about 10 days ago

Has anyone gotten interview requests lately? Do those go out in waves as well?

Thanks! Do you know if they offer any stipends for travel?
They do. And from what I understand they tend to be generous with them.

This through the grapevine though. I'm still waiting
I called and asked--it depends where you're traveling from, and they determine it based off your permanent address. So if you listed your home address rather than your school address, you need to write in and change that to get the proper stipend/be able to fly out from the right city.

EDIT from email: apparently the stipend is 250, no receipts needed.
Any idea how we get the stipend? Do we email them and request it, or do we just show up to the ASW and it is given to us?
I'm really not sure. They said more information about ASW is to follow, but the way it was phrased makes it sound like they're just handing them out as party favors.
