I used to be an official Jack the Bulldog walker as an undergrad - this perk came with all-access floor passes to home basketball games and a pimped out golf cart I would drive around campus while Jack rode shotgun....there's no better way to pick up chicks in all the land.

How has OCI been for you? Can you describe the process a little and your thoughts?
Thanks~

But maybe I'm just cynical because everyone I know who got a job through EIW is in or close to the top third.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not listen to retarded anecdata when you have real numbers available. Here's data from Section 5 (my section) from the class of 2016 (which nickb is a member of, but he's in section 4 I believe, which actually appears to have done even better than US):
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 2137162564
At last count, 56% of my section did biglaw during their summer (spreadsheet excludes only 4 year students from the total, as they could not have done EIW with us). And this is a minimum as there are a few people in the total whom I just don't know very well and so listed their status as unknown.
The vast majority of people who did EIW/otherwise tried for biglaw got biglaw. And the class of 2017 (from all indications) is doing even better.
Use your fucking brain, people! Do you really think that Georgetown's going to do WORSE than it did in the c/o 2014 (which did EIW in fucking 2012, and where 50% of the class had biglaw or federal clerkship) than it will NOW, when Biglaw hiring is rising yearly?

Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
As a general rule, moreover, please disregard anything nickb has to say with interview results. There just seems to have been a small, but vocal, class of large, unkempt, vaguely autistic misanthropes in the class of 2016, for whatever reason. He's part of that tribe...which is fine, but unless you also fit that description, you're far more likely to get biglaw than not.

Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
Also, if you're going to USE anecdata, you may want to use a more representative sample. See the Georgetown EIW page from 2014 (c/o 2016) or 2015 (c/0 2017).. As long as they bid NYC, people below median to well within the bottom third ended up with biglaw our year (some of these people I personally know). This trend has continued for the class of 2017 and economic indicators suggest it will continue for your class.

Even assuming that sec5_gulc65's comments about certain personal characteristics of their disgruntled classmate are accurate, it is very poor form to make such comments.

LMAO @ your definition of "true" biglaw. Sticking just with the letter "C," would Cahill (280), Cadawalader (464) and Cravath (476) not constitute "Biglaw" for

Also, dumbfuck, I am not offering anecdotal evidence. Everything in that spreadsheet is verifiable by LinkedIn profiles, firm summer associate lists, social networks, and personal interaction (this last bit is hard for you...we get it).
