I still have only had the one status change, 2/16 maybe they don't even want to deal with me haha
I am just below both medians, so I figure I won't find out until after March 1st when the deadline is done

That feel when you know they are like a day away from making a decision but it's the weekend and the admissions office probably all went home

I had decision letter mailed a few days ago. I'm in Chicago so not too far - hopefully it's here today when I get back from work

I really think this is true, especially their LSAT median. Looking at LSN, it appears that most admits are all above median. Anecdotal evidence , I was 1 point off median LSAT and well above GPA 75th and got waitlisted.Calbears123 wrote:Third date change today but no decision. Stats at last years medians. Hoping for at least a wait list but with those huge money offers I'm seeing I hope I don't get dinged this year because it's looks like ND is trying to raise their medians

While this is certainly probable, I don't believe raising their GPA/LSAT medians is ND's greatest concern. I was admitted with a 25th percentile LSAT and median GPA (for those wondering, I'm a White guy from the Northeast, no alumni connections, etc.). Given previous data, I was virtually certain there was no way I would get accepted (if not by the grace of the WL). I believe my acceptance demonstrates Notre Dame's commitment to holistically evaluating applicants; it confirmed my belief that numbers aren't the "be all end all" in their admissions process, and that they genuinely care about the potential contributions their students will make to their school (irrespective of enhancing their stats) and the legal profession.Iwanttolawschool wrote:I really think this is true, especially their LSAT median. Thanks for the slightly reassuring post. I like to think I have very good softs and I wrote what I hope was a strong why ND paper. Really would like to go to this school, seems like a good fit for me.Iwanttolawschool wrote:I really think this is true, especially their LSAT median. Third date change yesterday as well, starting to get nervous. Stats at last year's median and > 75 GPA. Hoping they're really not trying to push their median LSAT up here because I may be a casualty.

Got my scholarship info via mail recently. 35k/yr, way more generous than GW and BU. Very happy about it.

I agree with the holistic viewing of applications mentioned above. I was offered 25k/year recently. Median LSAT and Above median GPA, but strong softs and carefully completed application.
Interesting note in the offer letter about how if you multiple deposit anywhere they will revoke the offer. Is this standard?

Same with me, except I applied 1/16...
Now anyone know how long it usually takes for the acceptance info to arrive? Also, do we know whether $$$ will come via snail mail or email?

Decision mailed as of 2/25/15, and my deposit numbers have changed! I'm assuming this means I'm in?! My LSAT is 25<x>50, and GPA>75. PM for exact stats!

Re: Notre Dame Law School c/o 2018 (2014-2015 applicants)
Hey guys, here my situation:
They received my application January 20th. Since then there's been multiple date changes, sometimes three a week. Most recent one was for the 19th. Should I be worried, or does my lack of an offer right now merely indicative of the somewhat later date that I applied?
I'll add my stats to help you decide (especially because it seems like NDLS is going for a stat increase in at least LSAT scores this cycle):
164 LSAT
3.71 GPA
Strong "Why NDLS" Essay
Minor to moderate family ties to the University
Worry or wait? Or both?

Or not take the job offer and worry you made the wrong decision? Such is life. We don't even know what your job offer is. Got the official acceptance email this morning! I was surprised considering I thought I would have to wait for snail mail.
