It doesn't seem that way, it is that way, and the letter explains why. Is there a question here? Not trying to be rude, just trying to get a clear picture of what you're looking for.AllDangle wrote:Bump. Hmm thanks for the info. I remember they mentioned an optional interview in my PR letter. I'm going to try to schedule one and see what happens.Jaqen wrote:I was PR'd too. Sent a LOCI shortly after, nothing since. I don't think I've heard of any movement so far off of it, but I could have overlooked it.TexasAggie13 wrote:I got "Priority Reserved" back in January and honestly I didn't really care because I wasn't considering Duke too seriously, but my situation has changed slightly and now I think Duke could be a great option for me. Has anyone had any luck getting off the priority reserve list? Sent a LOCI this morning.

I would seriously recommend that optional interview! I took advantage of it and got in off of PR with a GPA below the 25th.TexasAggie13 wrote:Hmm thanks for the info. And I also just got my scholarship in the mail! 54k total. I really wasn't expecting anything so I am absolutely thrilled and it makes Duke a lock in now. I'm officially attending Duke next year and couldn't be more excited!!!!

I was hoping dewdawn was making a joke. The alternative is that dewdawn evidently thought Duke may have just admitted everyone who applied.twentypercentmore wrote:Right here.TripTrip wrote:dewdawn wrote:Did Duke reject anyone this cycle?

Given the cost of living in NYC, it would be very difficult for me to rationalize NYU at sticker.swordking90 wrote:Is NYU no longer your first choice?Audeamus wrote:Got my scholly offer in the mail yesterday. 72K total!!! This is definitely a game changer for me!!

One of my best friends is finishing up at Duke, and the other one is at Michigan, and it's insane how they have these HUGE apartments (2 bedrooms), and pay around $650. That's how much the closet in my NY apartment would be. So I feel you on that cost of living... I lived in NY for undergrad and grad, and it's insane how much money I've spent on rent. And that's just in Queens, not near NYU which is prime Manhattan real estate. Congratulations on the scholly!Audeamus wrote:Got my scholly offer in the mail yesterday. 72K total!!! I was UR1 3/1 as well and received the waitlist email today. Bummed because I went to Duke for undergrad and really wanted to be back. Guess I need to start crafting a LOCI...dewdawn wrote:just curious, where are our applications?JXander wrote:UR1 3/1 and still nothing. Feeling a bit concerned.
