Sent mine in yesterday, but still pretty 50/50 at this point. Kind of depends on a couple factors outside of my control at this point, actually, so I guess I'll kick back and wait a month.

Me too. pretty much the same boat. I will be paying at least two deposits and then waiting for FIVE WLs...

Similar numbers last year (same LSAT, little higher GPA), my cycle indicates you should have good luck at Vandy (off waitlist) and UCLA (admitted). However, I wouldn't be expecting any cash off a waitlist. Vandy offered 5k/year, but in the broad scheme of things...that's nothing.

Which makes it a WUSTL ($$$)/UT($) game for me....provided Mich never happens...

Another thing that worries me is I have NO midwest ties..

Sorry confused, on one hand I'm surprised because I saw some worse numbers than yours (non-URM) accepted earlier, but on the other hand this probably means that they are 1. committed to keeping that 168 LSAT median and not dropping further next year or 2. A lot of people deposited by yesterday and they simply can't accept anyone right now.

167 is a great LSAT, probably like 92-93 percentile. Wash U has a hard 168 wall, which really sucks.

Also, if hard set on Wash U, might try to reapply next year or retake.

As a WL myself I'm hoping they take a healthy chunk from our ilk this cycle. Also, it seems many people have withdrawn from WUSTL.... Sheesh, now I'm not feeling too good about my chances. I recieved a nice email from the assistant dean about my LOCI, which made me think I had a person "in my corner" come wait list acceptance time. Seeing that confused got passed on is weird...

I have a very large scholarship to Wash U with a 167. I don't say that to brag, just to clear up that they have a hard 168 wall. I got in in the first group of admits, too.

Now that is plush. No COL in NYC is a big plus. Further, Fordham has nice numbers on LST.... Good luck with your cycle.

Rejected today; low GPA but that was a long time ago (4.0 in masters program).

Not terribly concerned; would have been difficult to talk spouse into WUSTL over current commitment. She wasn't terribly warm to StL.

What is the protocol for submitting LOCI? I mailed mine by certified mail, however, I'm thinking it might have been better to email it. Should I go ahead email a copy, as well? Any thoughts?

I just emailed mine in a Word attachment. Snail mail is nice, personal touch, though.

Respectfully disagree. I don't think there is either a positive or negative with snail mail, especially given that WLs probably won't be hearing back until around 5/1 (the 1st deposit refund date). However, if they start making decisions sooner, one can only suffer by sending a LOCI behind everyone else.

Also, digital copies are easier to keep as a part of your file, the rest of which is also digital.

Was WL'd about a week ago.....sent in a LOCI. Concerned that if accepted that there will be no $ for me.

I was waitlisted yesterday as well. I had gotten the Valentine's Day fee waiver and took a couple weeks to decide to apply so I think they figured (correctly) that I wasn't serious about attending.
