After meeting and speaking with Dean Deal, and considering she has a child in College-- I would say she's closer to 50, if not older. SOOOOO pregnancy is definitely not in the picture. However, I do think that we will get some news today-- as flights to Preview Weekend are soaring.. Not like they care-- but I'm just sayin'

tempted to just drive from l.a. to palo alto, but don't have that kind of time.

Ah ok, good point. Yep, if 380 are already admitted, they would probably have told the rest of us by now.
It could be they have admitted a few in March/April not from TLS.

Looking through last years and prior years threads, I think that while it is foolish to hope to discern a pattern for dates, there was one constant: that at the tail end of the notification deadline, all of the applicants retained a great deal of hope. That hope was met with a waitlist/ rejection bloodbath at the end of April.

Would a targetted LoR this late in the game be considered OK by SLS? Don't want to annoy them.

I'm reapplying from last cycle. Applied near deadline to SLS, got rejected shortly after 4/20.

As for Harvard, I was WLed in a wave in late April, then in the first week of May, around 20 people were accepted off the WL, and it was trickle for the rest of the summer.

Look through last years threads for any school you are wonderng about. There were no rounds of final mass acceptances.

or not on lsn. i was admitted last week but i dont have a profile there and a few other people on tls were accepted that don't appear to have profiles. "fortuitous" got accepted at about the same time i did and s/he didn't have a filled in lsn profile; i think there was at least one other...
again, this isn't to predict the future but to say that there seems to have been a steady enough stream of acceptances over the past couple weeks
