I have nothing else to "wait" for after this even though I still only have 3 decisions.
Weren't you held at Harvard? Or are you thinking getting good news of the hold list is unlikely?

Yes I was held, but I am not worthy enough to "wait" for HYS. It happens it happens. If anything it's going to be post-March. Columbia has to give me some kind of answer sooner than HYS? I hope?

In that case I'm in the same boat...waiting on Harvard and Yale is pretty much stress-free for me, since I have ZERO expectations of either actually happening. Not even a hold from Harvard.
Columbia, on the other hand...

Also, because I'm a huuuge LSN stalker, it seems that two years ago the first Columbia packages to arrive were on Friday, January 23rd (letters dated 1/22), and people got them on Saturday & Monday too.
So if they're consistent, we're probably looking at the 24th, & hopefully the 22nd (Saturday).
Edited because I found more LSN stuff.

Wasn't someone on the ED said saying that everything was like a week back compared to last year?

That could be the big package, though. Some of the LSN people referred to a letter and a package. SO WE'LL SEE.
I reallly hope we don't have to hold out until February

Will lose my mindddd.

Does anyone know how Columbia is with reverse splitters (i.e. High GPA and Low LSAT?)

Also for the ED admits (and maybe the early RD ones), he said our packets go out late Jan so "expect them early February."
Wait, didn't ED people hear in December? I'm confused. Don't most RD acceptances come at the end of January?
We only got an email with a scanned pdf in December that basically said "you're in. now withdraw all your applications because you're ED and expect the real acceptance packet sometime next year."
So for those of us who applied early but RD, we should continue to operate on the assumption that an acceptance will either come late January/early February or (probably) not at all?

Yeah, I'd say so. In fact, my money is on the ED admits and the early RD admits getting packets at the same time.
Which ASWs are people planning on going to? I have a wedding in Baltimore in late March, and I live in San Francisco. I'd rather not fly back and forth, so I think I'm going to go to the second ASW in late March.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
