i haven't been to cafe russo yet, but the cafeteria in the business school has always been my favorite - they have made to order paninis that you can stick anything on for 1 price - i always get brie and proscuitto with argula, bell peppers, and artichoke hearts.
i also second cool cafe if the weather's good, it has a nice terrace (don't remember if you can see the rodin sculptures from it or not) and good lemonade

Bazinga! Berkeley (the home of John Yoo) has more/better food than them all, though.lawyering wrote:soooo true. palo alto has SO many more food choices than boston/cambridge and new haven! Yeah, I was careful to say "more food choices" not "better food choices". Boston/Cambridge food is mediocre at best, but there certainly are a ton of optionsBioEBear2010 wrote:Bazinga! I was actually trying to make fun of the poster. Only in the latte-sipping, arugula-eating, hippie-heaven Bay Area could you find a sandwich like that. This is decidedly NOT real America.

Isn't it a holiday tomorrow? Or do law schools work through Good Friday and Easter? I get so anxious every time I get snail mail now.

Definitely not a holiday. Maybe at Georgetown, but not at St@nford.Saya wrote:Isn't it a holiday tomorrow? Or do law schools work through Good Friday and Easter? I get so anxious every time I get snail mail now.

Has Stanford ever been known to give a decision over the phone if you're just calling to check the status of your app? I can't bare waiting any longer.

Re: Cal State Palo Alto 2010!!!
I'm honestly considering it, but I've called twice in the last two weeks. I don't want them to start questioning my sanity (which I'm honestly starting to question at this point). Anywho, if I decide to go through with it I'll post what happens. I need some answers.

Just got a professor to fax them another LOR, this one using Stanford's form and tailored a little bit to the school. I hope it helps!

Called them to ask about this as I'm doing the same...they prefer it through LSAC it seems. Not that they'll really care if it comes via fax...they're probably take another toke and not worry about it.

Re: Cal State Palo Alto 2010!!!
Well, I figured that LSAC would just slow it down, and their school-specific form implies that it should be sent straight to them anyway. I guess I should have asked beforehand, but I feel like I'm constantly fighting to stay one step ahead of the rejection letter, so faster is better.mochafury wrote:Called them to ask about this as I'm doing the same...they prefer it through LSAC it seems. ^^ I heard Stanford students put dijon mustard on their hamburgers, too. They think they're better than we are. Why can't they be content with the double-fried food at the county fair, like the rest of us?crackberry wrote:I was actually trying to make fun of the poster. To be honest, I didn't grow up eating arugula and brie, so I really do find it a bit hoity-toity. But that's not the point -- crackberry and I were referencing the class warfare perpetrated against Obama's presidential campaign:
