For those (if any) who applied Binding Expedited Decision - it says you will hear within 15 business days of your application going under review. Has anyone had experience with this, and familiar with the time frame? Do they really abide by the 15 business day self imposed limit, is it normally only a few, should I expect it on day 15? Not sure about my chances - above 75th % on LSAT but below 25th% in GPA.

I am ED, application went complete on 1/8/16 and interviewed today (1/13/16). I have not been given a decision yet though. Stats are pretty similar to your's, 75% lsat and 25-50% GPA. Hope to get a decision soon, but overall I have been impressed with how quickly it has gone so far.

I received status checker admission by 5PM the day I interviewed but received no other indication like an email or a call.

Yeah I've been refreshing the status checker quite a bit. Just hoping I'm not that rare person who is interviewed but doesn't get in.

Oh man, at least you have movement! Does UVA traditionally wait to send out rejects/WLs? I've been UR1 since 11/12 and have heard nothing, so I'm hoping that doesnt mean they're just waiting to ding me.

If you are out of state and have not had a lot of movement, I would not read in too much into it. They are a school that has to take a lot of in-state students. Good luck and you do not know until you know!

My turnaround from the interview was about 24 hours. Had an interview and the following day around COB got an email notifying me I had been invited to join the "UVA Class of 2019 Facebook Group." This was a little confusing but I checked the status checker and it said I was in. About 20 minutes later Dean Faulk sent an email and clarified that my packet was going into the mail.

For what its worth, I interviewed in October and wasnt accepted until two weeks later

I would assume so, though they never replied to my email from two weeks ago asking the exact same thing. I'm calling them in about half an hour to ask, so I'll report back

Typically yes I believe. Depends how far you are traveling, so somewhere from $150-$350 probably.

I called and asked--it depends where you're traveling from, and they determine it based off your permanent address. So if you listed your home address rather than your school address, you need to write in and change that to get the proper stipend/be able to fly out from the right city.
