PR is allegedly the first tier of the waitlist. It's typically given to people who aren't accepted via PT and/or they yield protect.

Probably a decent chance of getting off it if you write a LOCI and they have any spots left

I wrote a LOCI last year right after when I was PRed, and filled in a form indicating continued interest in staying in WL during Feb. Radio silence since then... :(

Well I mean it is a wait list, not just being held, so expect to hear back when they start dipping into their wait list.

The PR e-mails seemed to imply that it was not a waitlist and that we were still being actively reviewed. The lack of movement makes me question that, but Duke does not advertise this as a special waitlist group like Georgetown would.

Just sent in my form saying I wanted to stay on the priority reserve list.
Duke would be great for me. I've already sent in an LOCI and even drove to campus for an interview, so I think I will reiterate my interest in the next week or two with another brief letter.
