Got that one too and literally set in on fire in the sink. I have received a look-alike envelope every day this week. One more and I'll turn into the Hulk
I have a feeling I won't like you when you're angry
Haha at least one envelope got that reference

I had a dream about NCEs last night. I actually received two, one with the acceptance letter and one with a scholarship --which was 25% of tuition. What I appreciate most about this is that even in my wildest fantasies, I still don't receive a Hamilton or a Butler. Thanks for keeping me grounded, psyche.

I'm not too concerned. There are a few January applicants on lsn but most are autoadmits and they just received it in the most recent batch. If I don't get anything this week, then ill start panicking.

From last year's thread, on February 4th:

I thought white envelopes were reserved for rejections/wl's, but these looked pretty thick. Has anyone received an acceptance in a color other than vomit?
I just got these today. One is an acceptance binder and the other one is an NYC info booklet. A few other people who got VCEs within the last ten or so days have mentioned getting them recently, I think.

We already know this.... Quick, change your address to Singapore!!

ETA: in all seriousness, since you're dealing with an extenuating circumstance, maybe you could ask them to change your method of communication to email rather than snail mail, like they do with international applicants. Not sure if it'll work, but it could be worth a try.

Well, if you're held or put on reserve...

Seriously though, from last year's "in" thread, February 17th:

Yeah I had a good conversation over the phone with a 3L from my neck of the woods. Was definitely pretty neat.

After all that I think you have to share your numbers for those of us who also have no shot at Columbia.

Lol thanks!

Well don't kill me (because my numbers really are ridiculous logistically) but yeah numbers are 165, 3.35 URM. Not Columbia material at all. This is my proof that miracles DO happen!

Incidentally I'm going to Superbowl party at 6 haha. Tonight's gonna be a good night!

Congrats to everyone with an NCE!

I'm 175/3.56 and submitted in early Nov.

I've got some good material for a LOCI, but not sure whether to send now, or just wait 'til the inevitable (?) waitlist notification.

What do y'all think?

Chill brah. Wait. Take a look at the decision graph. still some trickles left. also, there's a good chance you'll find out if you get waitlisted this week anyway.

is hammy/butler embedded in your admissions letter? or a seperate letter right behidn it?

Both--they bold it right near the top of your cover letter and include a second letter behind it.
