Wondering how long they are going to have me wait to tell me I have to wait.

Just got the call from NYU! 212 number.

This is out of left field --but did any of the other 1/17 admits apply to one of the named scholarships? I wondered if maybe they were evaluating those apps first so they could finalize the pool of scholarship applicants and not hold that process up. Random, I know. I hope the rest of you hear soon!!

I did apply for a named scholarship ... prob a valid reason... Anyone who applied to a named scholarship not hear back?

Congrats!!! Someone said that NYU called them too --is that just for ED or RD too?

No one called me. But I don't have a US number, so schools that tend to call still tend to not call me.

Update -- They did end up calling me a few hours after I posted this.

for others benefit, in via phone call today. submitted 1/4. 171/4

also, they said that you CAN still submit essays for named scholarships. just email admissions and they will give you a form to fill out. everybody should do this if they havn't already.

sorry to ask this in every single thread but how long does it take for the admit letter/materials to come? Im sorry if i seem obsessive but ever since sandy ive been getting my mail forwarded and essentially get none of it so i just like to have a timeframe before i reach out. sorry big zuck for being a broken record.

Judging from the admittance graph and previous years' posts, it looks like they start coming out beginning of March.

yup.. and if you look at the graph closely.. almost nobody is admitted after Jan.. Feb is a month of death...
