I went to LSN and grabbed all the applications which were either submitted before or complete before 2012 started. I assume this is the "soft hold" group. Then I deleted all the applications that are Pending. Then I filled in approximate "decision" dates for those with decisions w/out dates using their last updated date. This is an assumption so be a bit skeptical here.
That gave me the following data (sorted by decision date):
Then I gave each application a unique number in order of decision date (or last update) and plotted out the submission dates. This should allow us to see if SLS is going through their "soft hold" applications in any particular order. Though again the method is a bit sketchy:
As far as I can am willing to speculate--this graph ended up dis-confirming theories that SLS has finished rejecting those early submitters in the soft hold category. One who really likes wild speculation might argue that there are two semi-linear blobs such that SLS seems to have made two sweeps through the soft hold group, roughly in order of submission. Even if this were the case it would still lead to the conclusion that they very well might be doing this a third time.
So that was my early morning project... I hope it helps to keep the neurosis of this thread at an all time high (WE ARE ALL AT RISK__DLS CAN EFFECT ANYONE ANYTIME!)
Peace!
